Food Junkie Part 1.

Now playing: Crawl - Chris Brown

On Tuesday, Sandra invited Joanne, Sher and myself to her college (KDU) in order for my life long dream to come true. On that special day, Sandra cooked for me! Nyeh nyeh nyeh!
Well, at least i think she did. Not sure. Maybe she cooked one of the dishes i had? Hehehe.

Correction, Sandra only made the starters for me. I'm hoping she did. Otherwise my dream wouldn't have came true. :(

Anyways, started off going to pick Shermein up from Bangsar and got a little lost on the way to KDU College cause i took the wrong turning but all good.
Once we were there, the dream began!

Once i sat down, some girl was Sour waitress. She was so shy! Hahaha. She was bowing her head while talking VERY softly in a SQUEAKY voice. Haha. I was restraining myself from laughing. Hehe. Sorry Sandra, don't tell your friend. :)

While waiting for the food, Sandra was so jakun over excited to have us over that she was jumping for joy trying to get a glimpse of us. Hehehe. :)

So the starter came, which was first off, soup:

I know the soup looks a little dodgy, but thats the best soups i've ever tasted in oat form! Hahaha.
I'm hoping that Sandra made that. :P

Next up was salad:

The salad didn't hit the spot very much. But, I'm not a big fan of vegetables unless I'm eating caeser salad. But, it was not that bad. Still finished it. Hehe. :)

The main course was Macaroni and Cheese:

Everyone was having the chicken, so i decided to take the other one.
And damn it, i should have stuck with the chicken.
No offence Sandra or your friends, but the Mac and cheese was cold. And i was wondering what the jelly green thing was on the macaroni, until i found out today it was apple sauce. Hehe. Whoops. :P

Lastly, dessert was good! Swiss rolls with berries. :)

I loved it, hoping Sandra prepared that too! Hahaha. :P

Well, that's all. After eating, dropped Nick Tan home in TTDI.
Haha.

Then Sher and myself headed to One Utama to wait for Sandra to go climbing.
In the end, we went climbing first.

I've found a new addiction. :)
Good form of exercise and a good way to make new friends.
Made friends like Jason (our host), Derrick, Jane and a few others i forgot their names.

Might be going again this Sunday. Can't wait! :)

Till the next post! :)

The Modern Teachers.

Currently listening to: All American Rejects - I wanna touch you

I'm having a bad case of the hiccups, a slight headache, and a horrible flu.
Anyway, the reason for this post is because I am here to talk about the modern day teachers.
The reason for it being that some people have been talking stuffs about teachers these days and I have noticed some things about them.
And it hit me, these teachers are trying to be hip and young like their students! Haha.

Here are the 4 reasons why I find today's teachers trying to relate to the younger generations.

1. Most teachers, drive around in their cars which still has the 'P' stickers stuck to them.

Sure, they may have just received their license or 'forgot' to remove them.
But i would have removed the stickers a long time ago if i could. Just thinking out loud.

2. Teachers now a days are eager to receive the new gossips about their fellow students from their colleagues.

This ALWAYS happens in Sri Cempaka.
Teachers always talking about who's dating who, who did this or that, who's hot or who's not. And a lot more.

3. Some teachers from my school in Perth are always trying to relate to their students.

They always ask their students about what they did during the weekend as if they are 'trying' to relate to us. And in turn, they tell us a long story of their weekend as well. Either that, they will sometimes try and get the latest gossip in order to share with the other teachers as mentioned in point number 2.

4. From what i heard from someone, some teachers out there ranging between (40-50) years old or so, they wear tight clothes or revealing clothes trying to look 'hip'.
What they think they look like by wearing those 'uniforms' is basically,

However, what they really look like is something like this!

Attractive? NO. Horrifying? HELL YES!!

Well thats all the points i could think off.

Please do tell me if i did miss out any points so i can add them up. :)

Let me make the most of what's left.

Now playing - Replay by IYAZ

As of today, I have only 17 days of summer holidays left.
I sort of am looking forward to going back to Perth to see my friends and lose weight.
But, I also do not want to leave my friends here. =( My holidays were just about to get slightly better.

It's been almost 2 weeks ever since everyone else started college and school again.
Which has made me extremely bored. And randomly doing wanted and unwanted things, sleeping at random times and going out at a very minimal rate.

Hmm.. Still thinking of what else to update about.
Oh! Sandra Yap, who by the way studies the culinary arts, or in other words for you rather daft people out there, the art of FOOD over at KDU college, has been taking very fascinating and salivating and orgasmic pictures of the food she cooks there!
The food may i add, is like all those exotic food which i doubt we can get in Malaysia unless you study culinary arts.
Anyway, back to the point, the pictures she puts there makes me hungry all the time! Which makes me look for food to satisfy myself, which then results me in gaining weight. Hahaha.

Enough talk, I'll let you judge how good the food looks. Hehe.
I hope you don't mind me stealing borrowing some pictures Sandra. :)

Was that good enough for you? If not, go see her blog! :) *CLICK*

On another note,
What i have planned as of now,

Handball on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Rock Climbing this Sunday?
SiLynn's party on the 29th.
Shermein's (under construction) party/get together.
And maybe a few futsal games here and there.

Still hoping to do other things than that.
Not much time left to enjoy. :(

Well, that's it for today. :)

Big One Nine.

Today's 5th January 2010.
Now I'm 19. Gosh i feel old. =\
People are now calling me old and/or ancient. Dangg...
I'm also the oldest in my school's history. Double dangg...

Anyways,
The day started off slow.
Getting wishes after wishes after wishes in every possible way.
From Facebook to Twitter, to Skype to MSN to Text messaging and even calls.
I appreciate all the wishes guys. :)

Next morning, was rudely awoken by the sound of my dad's extremely loud sneeze, followed by the rush of my parents and sisters getting ready to start the day.
Mum and sister came up. Wished and went.

Woke up later at 9-ish.
Watched some tele and then went down to the piano where i attempted a Kings of Leon song cover of Use Somebody.
Still working on it.
Now i just have to get the piano notes right. Haha.

In the avo, i went to school to pick my sister up.
Saw some people there and more wishes came followed by hugs.
Ladeedadeeda...

When 6 came. Left the house for OU.
Once there, i went straight to Chillis in time to see Aisha leave.
Sat down with Sandra, Feri and Jay.
Slowly everyone came.
Everyone i mean, Sher, Farah and Jo. :)

Anyways we ordered our food. Me and Jay played some kid games.
Makes me feel good cause it made me feel young again. :)
At the end of dinner,
We, well i got an ice-cream brownie with one candle on it.
Made me feel EVEN YOUNGER! :)

After dinner, we went up to buy the tickets to Have you met the Morgans?
It's a good movie. I give it a 3.5/5. :)
So after the movies we all left.
And now i'm here. :)

All in all, it was a good day for me.
I had a very quiet day which was what i wanted.
Nevertheless, the get together was a plus.
Thanks to you guys Sher, Jo, Farah, Sandra, Jay, Feri and Sha for coming. :)
And thanks to the others who wished me. :)

Now pictures. :)

Thank you guys. :)
You guys make everything a little extra special. :)

2010 already?

Okayyyyy. Here we are. Its 2010. A new year, a fresh start.
However unlike many people, I had a rather quiet new years eve with a few mates.
Which was by the way, what i really wanted. To get away from all that hype of the new years and just enjoy it sitting down with a few friends and watching the fireworks together.
Some may consider it a waste, but i don't seem to feel all that hype at all this time.

2010 is not starting off with a bang for me.
Been feeling so down these past few days.
The feeling of boredom? Maybe.
The feeling of being lonely? Yes.
The feeling of being older? A definite yes.

It is after all, the last year of being a teenager for me.
Next year, I have to face the adult world.
So i guess, make the most of it now?
Do things i've wanted to do as a teenager.
Go wild.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

On a brighter note,
I had my ideal new years this year.
A quiet one with a few friends, namely Shermein and Shahir. Joanne and "Anthony" joined us later.
Plans started off as me and Siew Lynn going to Rasta for new years eve.
Unfortunately, she had to bail to go for dinner with the family.

So i called around and got a hold of Sher so we proceeded to Pavilion.
Got there, met Farah, Putri, Ben, Marina, Aisha and Jay.
We then wanted to go to Heritage, but it was so jam i bailed.

Sped off to Rasta just in time for the fireworks.
Might i add. Rasta had their own show. We had front row seats to the fireworks. :)
So we just stayed there from 12 to about 3.
Got home about 5-ish?

And that was how i spent my night.

---------------------------------------------------------

Now, new years resolutions so far.

1) Study harder
2) More sleep
3) Gain more muscle mass and lose more flabs.
4) Get a girlfriend! (Hopefully la!)

One more year of Australia.
One more month till school starts.
One hour and a half till my birthday. Woopdeedoo...

Oh well. Till the next post.

Theft

On Saturday (apparently) night, my dad's office got broken into for the SECOND time.
As i recall, this time the robbers managed to take more items. The total of stolen equipment amounted to a whopping MYR200,000++.
Well it all started yesterday (Sunday) night. My family were supposed to meet up with one of my dad's colleague's family. Once we were there, dad suddenly got a phone call informing him about the break in.
So we rushed down to Sri Hartamas to check it out.
When we were there, the police were doing their so called 'investigation'.
If you ask me, i think all that is a load of bullshit.
All those 'searching for left fingerprints' were a waste of time.
But they did it anyway...
Well, the thieves seemed pretty experienced, managing to open the magnetic glass door by short-circuiting the system and all without a hassle.

And boy, did they leave a mess.
They even broke into my dad's room to look for the petty cash.

Disappointed they left without money cause the petty cash is kept somewhere else. Haha.

But they still managed to steal heaps of CPU's and Monitors. The total of stolen items were 8 CPU's and 6 monitors. All of which contains very important documents of my dad's latest projects. Such a waste of work. Now they have to start from scratch which is extremely hard work.

Like my dad said, he doesn't mind losing all the equipment. Whats important is all the data that is stored in those computers.
Oh well, that's it for my night.

Hmm.. I guess now is not a good time to ask for an increase in my allowance? Hehe.
