Theft
On Saturday (apparently) night, my dad's office got broken into for the SECOND time. As i recall, this time the robbers managed to take more items. The total of stolen equipment amounted to a whopping MYR200,000++. Well it all started yesterday (Sunday) night. My family were supposed to meet up with one of my dad's colleague's family. Once we were there, dad suddenly got a phone call informing him about the break in. So we rushed down to Sri Hartamas to check it out. When we were there, the police were doing their so called 'investigation'. If you ask me, i think all that is a load of bullshit. All those 'searching for left fingerprints' were a waste of time. But they did it anyway... Well, the thieves seemed pretty experienced, managing to open the magnetic glass door by short-circuiting the system and all without a hassle.  And boy, did they leave a mess.  They even broke into my dad's room to look for the petty cash.  Disappointed they left without money cause the petty cash is kept somewhere else. Haha.  But they still managed to steal heaps of CPU's and Monitors. The total of stolen items were 8 CPU's and 6 monitors. All of which contains very important documents of my dad's latest projects. Such a waste of work. Now they have to start from scratch which is extremely hard work.  Like my dad said, he doesn't mind losing all the equipment. Whats important is all the data that is stored in those computers. Oh well, that's it for my night. Hmm.. I guess now is not a good time to ask for an increase in my allowance? Hehe. Sunday Morning.
Despite sleeping at approximately 3 am I was forced out of bed AT 8 AM by my little sister to go the club for a gym workout and also swimming training. Left the house at about 9. Went to gym first. After gym, my nephew came! =) I swear he is the cutest thing ever. He loves imitating other people and also 'menyakitkan hati' other people. Haha. Brought the little dude for a swim. He enjoys the slides. Hehe. After the swim, he got grumpy. Apparently he too didn't get enough sleep last night. Just like his uncle. (Doesn't that make me sound old?) Haha. Well, we had our brunch there. Caught up with my sister and brother in law. My sister is now pregnant with a boy! I'm going to have another nephew! :) Well, that's all that happened today. What i'm really looking forward to this week: Monday: Lunch and maybe movies with the gang in KL. Tuesday: Handball match (again) Friday: Cempaka Damansara Prom. I may slot in some parking sessions in between. See how it goes. Oh and did i mention? My dad gave me some cash on Friday morning. And now. I'm broke. Blagh! I'll have to 'pandai-pandai' survive with what i have. Haha. To end this post, here's my nephew during raya last year. I apologize because that's the most recent picture i have of him. :)  Reminds me of a bouncer. ;) But he is a little bigger now. That picture was taken a year ago. Hehe. Labels: Activities.

A dose of handball.
After many failed attempts at planning to play handball at Sports Plaza during my holidays throughout the year with the usual team, finally, today we managed to play a few good games. Unexpectedly, there was a very good turn out for handball. Which is good, because we were able to have substitutes and also the price we have to pay per person is cheaper at only MYR 10. Most of my old team mates from last year showed up which was very nostalgic. However, we did not play as a team. All in all, a good day of handball. Kudos to Ronald and gang for organising the whole thing. Now,I'm looking forward to a few other sporting events. Futsal, badminton, swimming, maybe dodgeball? And of course more handball! Well, thats it for today. Tomorrow's another day. No plans yet. Anyone? =) Labels: Activities.
Fresh Start.
So. I have decided to restart my blog. The reason for that being. I just felt like having a fresh start again, and also because I had to find something to do during these 2 months of summer break.
